For my son's 5th birthday we had a PJ's party at our YMCA. It was a late party so we had all the kids (and some adults too!) wear their pajama's and have some fun with us. When I started planning for the party I couldn't find hardly any items that would fit a boys PJ party theme. There were a ton of pink, frilly sleepover decorations but none for boys. So I decided to make up my own! Dylan's favorite color is blue and so I went with a blue and red theme. I made his birthday sign, suckers, cupcakes and pretzel chocolates to go with the color theme. I also made some specialty cupcakes that looked like little kids under their blankets! Everything turned out so well!!
The dessert table: cupcakes, stars suckers, candy covered pretzels sticks, fruit kabobs, strawberries

Tables were covered alternating red and blue. Plates were alternating colors and then the silverware alternated (red spoons with blue plates, blue with red) and the a blue polka dot napkin!

I did just a dozen specialty cupcakes of the sleeping kiddos! These took a lot of time but added a lot of character to the table

I made some other cupcakes with blue and white swirl frosting and red sprinkles. I also wanted to add a tiny bit of nutrition so I did the fruit kabobs with strawberries and blackberries!
